Who we can help?
When seniors or individuals recovering from an illness or injury need long-term or short-term assistance with their daily living needs, home is the most comfortable and convenient place for them to receive care.
Oftentimes family members -- out of love -- will attempt to take over the responsibility of caring for a parent or a sibling themselves. Unfortunately, this generous act can put tremendous strain on their existing relationship. The family member can quickly become overwhelmed by the additional responsibility leading to feelings of resentment, while the receiver of care experiences guilt and diminished self-worth for shifting this burden on a loved one.
A personal caregiver is the perfect solution for everyone.
Home Care Partners, LLC provides experienced, compassionate and dependable caregivers carefully selected to provide our clients with loving care and assistance -- in order to make life easier for them and to provide their families with peace of mind. All of our caregivers are carefully screened and insured so you can trust you are getting the best possible assistance.
Home Care Partners also provides care services to individuals who may reside in an assisted living or nursing home facility.

How do we get started with Home Care Partners?
Home Care Partners generally follows a step-by-step process as we engage services with elders and their families. Initially, we may review and summarize some details over a phone call, during which time we schedule a future meeting. We travel to you. It is important that we see the living environment and household layout. Usually an hour covers this meeting. At conclusion, we walk through an "informational assessment" of client lifestyle, diet and nutritional needs, medication schedules, and family phone numbers.
At our 2nd meeting, we review paperwork and finances for mutual parties; leave our client binder in the home or living space for referral, daily notes, and reference; and introduce our home care staff.
You are free to cancel at any time. We are here to help you, not complicate your life.

Is any veteran eligible for the Aid & Attendance pension?
No, the Aid & Attendance pension is only available to veterans with wartime service. The VA has very specific enlistment dates relative to U.S. declared war.
- World War II (12/7/41 - 12/31/46)
- Korean Conflict (6/27/50 - 1/31/55)
- Vietnam Era (8/5/64 - 5/7/75 and 2/28/61 if "in-country" before 8/5/64)
- Persian Gulf (8/2/90 - date to be set by law).
The veteran must have served in a branch of the military, and been given an honorable discharge from service. They do not require out-of-country deployment.
My father already receives medical benefits through the VA, and therefore is not eligible for Aid & Attendance.
No, this is false. A veteran may be wise to have medical coverage through the substantial resources offered within the VA medical system. But this in no way precludes eligibility for Aid & Attendance, which is a federal pension benefit. The VA medical system may cover hospitalization, medical care and prescriptions. The Aid & Attendance pension provides financial assistance to help defray costs related to home care.
I own my home. I have lived here for 35+ years. Won’t this disqualify me for consideration of Aid & Attendance pension?
Quite the contrary. The Aid & Attendance pension was put in place to help seniors remain in their homes, and provide them financial assistance to do so. The benefit was established back in the 1950's...back when there were no assisted living facilities, nor nursing homes, available to help people as they naturally aged. People remained in their own homes as they grew older. As we all know, a bi-product of aging is a deterioration of some skill and functionality, and the Veterans Administration provides some funds to pay for services to "aid and attend to" eligible recipients.
